Getting a quote early in the printing process is way to make sure your project is done correctly and there are no surprises. We provide the speedy delivery of a quick printer and the quality craftsmanship of a commercial printer. In other words, we do good work and we do it fast!
In order for us to accurately quote your job, we need to ask you some specific questions about your project. When requesting a quote, please be prepared to answer the following questions: Quantity: How many will you need? We usually quote 3 different quantities so that you can compare costs. Will you be printing more of these in the future? Deadline: When do you need this job? If you have a specific day in which you need this job, please let us know at this time so that we can meet your deadline. Samples: If you have a sample of this job, please let us see it to give you an accurate quote. If the files have been digitally created please send us a laser printout or a digital file of what the files looks like. Color: Is this a one or two-color job? Or is it four color CMYK process project? How close together are the colors (do they touch)? Is there a lot of solid ink on the page? Does the design use any gradients or pictures? Does the color bleed off the page? Will this job be using any varnish or metallic inks? Paper: Do you have a paper preference? How thick does the paper need to be? Will the printed piece be mailed? PrePress: Are we creating these files or have they already been digitally created? What program(s) were used to create the files? Where will we be getting the digital files (from a design agency, via e-mail, on disk, etc.)? When will we be getting the digital files? Bindery: What is the final size of the printed piece? Does it fold? Does it need to be scored or perforated? Does it use a die? Does it have any foil or embossing? Delivery: Would you like us to deliver this job or will it need to be shipped? Will we be mailing it? |
